Perhaps you want to know the impact of genetic or inherited disease in your family and its effect on you and your children.
The Doctors and Staff of Forensic Pathology Consultants practice the highest compassion and ethics for the relatives and loved ones of a person who has passed away. We treat a human being who has passed away as a patient, and how we would want our family member treated.
An autopsy is a complete examination of the circumstances and medical history, and a head to toe external and internal surgical examination of a person. After this examination we prepare an extensive scientific and detailed report.
After the initial procedure we will call the family representative with initial findings and send a preliminary report. The final report is typically finished in 4-5 weeks. The family will then have the option of an in person conference to discuss the findings.
An autopsy is a surgical procedure, and does not alter the body for viewing in funeral services. All autopsies are performed in our ‘state of the art’ suites by trained and compassionate Pathologists, Assistants, and staff with over 70 years of combined experience.
Forensic Pathology Consultants is a leading provider in Indiana, Ohio and Michigan in performing Private Autopsy Services for families. We are happy to provide compassionate and caring service while giving answers to families and loved ones.
